Global Village Champions

Mission Statement

Global Village Champions Foundation strives to become the undisputed world leader in private, humanitarian delivery of nutrition to needy persons everywhere, sustaining human life and helping to eradicate hunger from the face of the Earth.

Yes, it’s bold. But our Villagers are up to the task.

Global Village Vision & Goals

  • Our Vision is to realize “A Day Without Hunger” on a global scale. Our goals include:

  • Providing continued support for the children that we are already supplying with meals and other necessities.

  • Expanding our Global Village Champions team to include people with diverse skills and a determination to make a difference in their World.

  • Encouraging people around the World to apply their caring attitude to their own community and help out a local food bank or volunteer at a shelter.

  • We are determined to realize the vision of having provided One Billion meals to the hungry and fostering an atmosphere of hope for a better future.

For more than 17 years Yank Barry, Muhammad Ali, Gary US Bonds and the rest of our Global Village Champions have worked to provide more than half a billion meals to hungry people around the World. Yank’s determined efforts to provide meals to the hungry were recognized recently when Mr. Barry was nominated for the 2012 and 2013 Nobel Peace Prize. Our primary focus is A Day Without Hunger. This is a challenging task given the extraordinary political and economic conditions in many parts of the Globe. It is only made possible as a result of our strong and proven leadership and the dedication of the Global Village Champions member volunteers.
